Top Anti-Tarnish Jewellery Brands in India (2026 Comparison)

October 13, 2026

Facts as of October 2026, taken from each brand’s own website and the sources listed at the end. Claims such as “waterproof” are the brands’ own and not tested by us.

Search for anti-tarnish jewellery in India and you will find dozens of brands, all promising a long-lasting shine. They are not the same. Some sell plated stainless steel, some sell sterling silver, some sell plated fashion jewellery, and each uses “anti-tarnish” a little differently. This guide compares nine of them on what they sell, what they charge and what to keep in mind. We are one of the nine, so we have put ourselves first and been as honest about our limits as about everyone else’s.

First, what “anti-tarnish” actually means

It usually means a protective finish, such as gold plating or PVD, over a base metal that is chosen to resist dulling. How long it lasts depends on the base metal, the type of coating and how thick it is, not on the brand name. Whatever you buy, take it off before showers and workouts, put on perfume first, and wipe it dry after wearing.

1. Antifikar

Antifikar is a new Mumbai brand selling gold-tone jewellery under the label Pyrite by Antifikar: earrings, necklaces and pendants, bracelets, rings and kadas. Pieces are finished in 18K gold-tone PVD plating and are nickel-free, and we are plain that they are plated, not solid gold.

What’s great

  • Entry prices, with pendants starting around ₹240 and a wide range of styles.
  • A clear India-wide shipping policy: a flat ₹100 below ₹999, and free above it.
  • We say what the product is and are careful not to over-promise.

Things to consider

  • We are newly launched, so there are not many customer reviews yet.
  • Not waterproof: we ask you to keep pieces dry and away from perfume.
  • A short return window (two days from delivery), with a ₹70 pickup fee.
  • A smaller range than the large marketplaces.

2. Palmonas

A Pune-based direct-to-consumer brand founded in 2017 that began with surgical-grade stainless steel and now also sells silver, gold vermeil and a separate 9KT gold line.

What’s great

  • Strong brand name and a broad range, including men’s jewellery, sets and gifts.
  • The brand states its steel pieces are tarnish-resistant, sweatproof and nickel-free, and lists a lifetime warranty policy.
  • Free shipping and cash on delivery are advertised.

Things to consider

  • Prices on featured items sit well above entry level.
  • The brand says “most” of its range is waterproof, and tells customers to remove jewellery before showers and workouts, so read the care notes.

3. GIVA

A large silver-led brand with 925 silver, hallmark gold, lab-grown diamond and a demi-fine line in chrome or gold-plated finishes.

What’s great

  • Widely known for sterling silver, gifting and personalised pieces.
  • A stated 15-day easy return policy and free pan-India shipping.
  • Customer ratings of roughly 4.7 to 4.9 on products we looked at.

Things to consider

  • Silver and gold lines cost much more than plated fashion jewellery.
  • If you only want trend pieces for a few wears, it may be more than you need.

4. Aferando

Sells 18K gold-plated stainless steel earrings, necklaces, rings, bracelets and anklets, with listings that mention 304 and 316 grade steel.

What’s great

  • Low prices, from about ₹199.
  • States that its steel won’t turn the skin green.
  • Free shipping above ₹999 with a free gift.

Things to consider

  • The site doesn’t state how long the finish lasts.
  • Return terms sit on a separate page, so read them before buying.

5. Estailo

An affordable fashion jewellery and accessories brand with a dedicated anti-tarnish collection.

What’s great

  • Very low prices, with many items under ₹500, and free shipping above ₹499.
  • Wide range that includes kids’ accessories and gifting.

Things to consider

  • Materials and plating are not specified on the page we checked.
  • Anti-tarnish is a tag on selected products, not the whole range.

6. Rubans

A fashion jewellery brand with demi-fine, ethnic and western ranges, from kundan and oxidised to enamel.

What’s great

  • Large choice of styles for both ethnic and western outfits.
  • Free delivery above ₹999 and frequent offers.

Things to consider

  • Tarnish-free claims apply to selected pieces, such as certain steel items, not the whole range.
  • The site itself describes much of its range as imitation jewellery, so look at each listing’s material.

7. Shining Diva Fashion

Known for combos and trendy sets, including multi-pair earring packs in steel for sensitive ears and floral bracelets.

What’s great

  • Value combos that suit gifting and variety.
  • Plenty of styles at low to mid prices.

Things to consider

  • Not every piece is anti-tarnish, so check the product page.
  • Marketplace listings and brand-site listings can differ in detail.

8. Arackal Jewellery

Specialises in American Diamond and traditional jewellery, plus an anti-tarnish collection.

What’s great

  • Strong in bridal and festive looks with AD stones, haarams and jhumkas.
  • Budget filters under ₹499 and ₹999.

Things to consider

  • Prepaid orders only, with no cash on delivery.
  • Some listings state “not sweat proof” and advise keeping pieces away from water and perfume.

9. Mehrooh

An online-only brand of gold-plated anti-tarnish earrings, rings, necklaces and bracelets, often listed among budget everyday brands.

What’s great

  • Everyday range at accessible prices.

Things to consider

  • We have not checked Mehrooh’s site ourselves; the facts here come from a published brand roundup, so verify on their page.

Other names you will see

Searches also show brands such as Zaisha, Febae, Klissaa, Zariva, Aanura, Swashaa, Nuyug, TVAYI, Aganya Kreation and Octonov. We have not compared them here because we have not verified their details, but they are worth a look when you shop around.

How to choose between them

  1. Decide your budget first. Under ₹500, look at Estailo, Aferando, Arackal and Antifikar. Around ₹1,000 to ₹2,500, look at Palmonas and GIVA.
  1. Match the material to how you live. Steel suits daily wear and sweat. Plated brass or copper pieces are for occasions, as long as you keep them dry.
  1. Read the care notes. Any brand that says “waterproof” still tells you to avoid showers and workouts. Plan for that.
  1. Check the return page before paying. Windows range from two days to fifteen.
  1. Do not buy on the word “anti-tarnish” alone. Ask what the finish and base metal are.
